Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh, based on the size of the Indian Premier League. The first edition of the tournament will begin on February 10, 2012 with six franchises that consists of players from around the world.


The Premier League Bangladesh 2012 (BPL) season, the first season of the Premier League Bangladesh. The season starts on February 9 with the finals are played on 29 February.



The competition will begin with a double round robin stage of the group, where each of the six teams will play twice against every other team. These events followed by two semi-finals and finals. Bangladesh Premier League BPL 2012 will be the greatest show in the cricket history of Bangladesh after the world cup in 2011.
